Refurbish AHU 16 NH100

Remove or alter existing work in such a manner as to prevent injury or damage to any portions of the existing work which remain. Repair or replace portions of existing work which have been altered during construction operations to match existing or adjoining work, as approved by the Contracting Officer. At the completion of operations, existing work shall be in a condition equal to or better than that which existed before new work started. Existing air handler unit 16 (Carrier, Model #39MN40B00577R22XXS, Serial #0205F02039) shall have new VFDs installed on the supply fan (25 HP) and the return air fan a 5 HP motor. The motor controllers shall be removed and the drives installed in their location. The supply and return fan motors shall be replaced with inverter duty rated motors. Install UV lights in AHU 16. Install a pre-heat coil to prevent the AHU tripping from freeze stat. Replace the chill water coil. Repair/replace all the doors and seals on the HEPA filter bank associated with AHU 16. The system shall have a test and balance to ensure proper air flow upon the completion of the install. Mechanical design shall be in accordance with the International Mechanical Code, UFC4-510-001, International Energy Code, applicable ASHRAE standards and Federal standards which apply.
