Boiler Replacement All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $50,000 In general, the work consists of: Replacement of cast iron steam boiler with high efficiency hot water boilers, addition of hot water heating pumps, addition of 120V control valves at existing wall fin and convectors, as well as controls upgrades. Also included is associated electrical and piping work. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. In general, the work consists of: Replacement of one (1) low pressure steam boiler. Including associated electrical and piping work. Merrill Armory is an occupied building. Boiler room access is through exterior man door Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineer Question Deadline 03/27/2023
