Description | Contract includes all work indicated on the project documents, including but not limited to: Building Construction: Construction of a new 5,421 GSF Visitor Center including an exterior deck and emergency generator enclosure. Major spaces in the building include public bathrooms. public exhibit and classroom space and Parks administrative offices. Support spaces include a janitor's closet and partial basement housing utility rooms and equipment. General Contractor is responsible for all General Condition and Division 1 requirements and all aspects of general construction as per the A and S drawing series and site/civil/landscape drawing series as noted below. Parking Facilities/Site/Civil/Landscape Construction: Construction Of new parkiru facility and site work to support the Visitor Center. See drawing series: G, D, C, L, and E. General description of the primary work elements are as follows: 1) Temporary site facilities (erosion control) and controls to support construction operations (MPT measures). 2) Selective site demolition/clearing and disposal. 3) Cast-in-place concrete for site foundations. 4) Stone masonry for stacked boulder walls, accent boulders, stair system treads, curbs, and stone veneer. 5) Metal railings for stair systems. 6) Exterior rough carpentry for barrier railings. 7) Exterior signage for regulatory and wayfinding signs. 8) Facility sanitary sewers for connection from building to existing septic tank. 9) Electrical service for building, well pump, site light fixtures, and automated gate. 10) Underground conduit system and appurtenances. 11) Earth work and rock removal 12) Aggregate stone and asphalt paving 13) Landscape materials, planting soils and site restoration. 14) Facility water service for connection from existing well to building, including submersible well pump. 15) Storm utility drainage piping and storm drainage structures. |
