| Description | The Project consists of adding base course to the road, then pulverizing and relaying Omaha Road, grading and shaping the roadway foreslopes, shouldering, and turf restoration. The bid proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid price, payable to the Town of Chelsea, as a guarantee that the bidder, if bid is accepted, we will execute and file the proper contract and 100 percent performance and payment bonds within 15 days after the Notice of Award. In case the Bidder fails to file such contract and required bonds, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Chelsea as liquidated damages.
