Description

For the PRIMARY LIFT STATION SUPPORT UP- GRADES project Description of the Project is as follows: This WORK consists of constructing a new reinforced concrete pad with aluminum guard rail and CATWALK around an existing concrete pedestal to house a new generator for The Village of Rochester. Partial bids will not be accepted. Attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to all requirements under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. Attention is called to Title 2, Subtitle A, Chapter II, Part 200, Appendix II, which includes, but is not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity, Davis-Bacon Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Rights to Inventions Made Under a Contract or Agreement, Clean Air Act, Debarment and Suspension, Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment, Procurement of Recovered Materials, Prohibition on certain telecommunications and video surveillance or equipment, and Domestic preferences for procurements. More information can be found here : eCFR :: 2 CFR Part 200 -- Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards Attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to the Public Construction Bond Act, 30 ILCS 550/1, and the successful bidder shall be required to provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of the contract in such form and manner as required by that Act. A certiied check or bank draft, payable to the Village of Rochester, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid for each Contract. The Village reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, any or all bid items, or to waive any informalities in the bidding, and/or award process. Bids may be held by the Village for a period of 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualiications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
