Door and Window Replacement Guilford Elementary School

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The Work includes, but is not limited to, all work necessary for the replacement of exterior windows and doors, door frames, and door hardware at multiple openings, removal of masonry veneer over windows and replacement of flashings and accessories, and touchup of adjacent finishes disturbed by replacement work. The Work also includes the removal and replacement of masonry veneer and related exterior wall components on all four gymnasium exterior walls, repair of multiple concrete landings, construction of new wall infill where indicated on the drawings. Hardware includes mechanical and electronic access system components for complete operating assemblies. All questions shall be directed, in writing, no later than 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 via the Bonfire website Instructions pertaining to the Bid Bond, Surety Checks, Performance and Materials Payment Bond requirements are contained in the bid documents. Certified Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice. The contractor or supplier who provides materials, supplies, equipment and/or services for this project shall attempt to achieve the specific overall MBE goal of 19% percent established for this project from Minorityowned businesses. The Howard County Public School System requests your bid to complete select door and window replacements at Guilford Elementary School as indicated on the drawings, specifications, and addenda.
