| Description | The Dyal Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located at 28400 SR 520, Christmas, FL 32709, has a total of six (6) double-cell, dual-media gravity filters in its groundwater treatment train. All filters utilize the Leopold Type S underdrain system, with traditional sintered-bead integral media support (IMS) caps in lieu of support gravel, a 12" layer of silica sand, and an 18" layer of anthracite coal. The City is currently interested in replacing the IMS Caps and media in the Groundwater Filter #2. |
