The Air Force Test Center, Installation Operation Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed proce (FFP) contract to Replace Tile, with LVT, First Floor Hallway, Bldg 380 at Eglin AFB, FL. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.. PURPOSE OF SECTION: The purpose of this section is to provide the Contractor with a Statement of Work for the above mentioned project. The Contractor shall follow the guidelines provided in the Statement of Work of said contract. The Contractor shall seek clarification from the Contracting Officer (CO) if there is any question on the applicability of a provision. These provisions are for the purpose of general information only and are not intended to completely describe the regulations and restrictions that apply on Eglin AFB. 2. PROJECT : The project is located on Eglin AFB, Florida. The Contractor shall be required to furnish all materials, equipment, plant, labor and personnel necessary to design, manage, and accomplish this work in accordance with the contract requirements. The Contractor is expected to maintain safety requirements and demonstrate standard construction methods, at all times. A. Provide everything necessary to remove tile & vinyl base, then replace with LVT along with new rubber base as indicated on the Task Order. is limited to the First Floor Hallway within building 380 on Eglin AFB.
