Description | City of Spokane Valley, Spokane County, Washington will accept sealed bids for the Wilbur Sidewalk Boone to Mission. The project consists of storm structure installation, new ADA ramps, curb and gutter, and sidewalk installation, and replacement of the full width of the roadway within the project limits. For further information contact Candice Powers-Henderson, Spokane Valley Community and Public Works, at cphenderson@spokanevalley.org or call 509-720-5003 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashiers check, or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposed. Failure to furnish a bid bond in compliance with the Citys bid deposit surety bond form shall make the bid non-responsive and cause the bid to be rejected. The City of Spokane Valley reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time announced for the bid opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. The City of Spokane Valley, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Spokane Valley in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs and activities.
