Replacement Vinyl Pool Liner at Congers Memorial Park

Scope of work under this section consists of the installation of a reinforced PVC membrane lining system specifically designed and formulated for use in swimming pools. The General Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, appliances, services, and perform the operations as detailed herein to complete the installation of the system in the existing Main Pool at Congers Lake Park. Work Included 1) It is the intent of this specification to describe a flexible, polyester reinforced PVC membrane lining system designed to contain water. The lining shall consist of two layers of flexible PVC totally encapsulating a polyester inner reinforcement. The sections of material shall be fuse bonded together at the site to form a watertight continuous membrane lining. 2) This specification includes, but is not limited to, the following components: flexible PVC membrane, smooth reinforced PVC membrane, textured slip- resistant reinforced PVC membrane; black color reinforced PVC membrane for use at targets, racing lanes and pool tread/nosing markings; separator fleece, PVC laminated steel edging and sheets, galvanized steel edging and sheets, sanitizing agents, transition flanges, and edge sealants. 3) The Contractor shall remove and replace all miscellaneous pool equipment items, as needed to properly install the PVC liner.
