Gray's Creek Dehumidifiers 2021

Contractors shall supply and install ten (35 pint) dehumidifiers and one (50 pint) dehumidifier. The dehumidifiers shall be equal to a Friedrich D35B1A and a D50B1A. The 35 pint dehumidifiers shall be installed in classrooms B110 to B119.The 50 pint dehumidifier shall be installed in classroom 120. The dehumidifiers shall be mounted on an exterior wall and drained to the outside when possible. Interior classrooms drains shall be run up the wall to a point above the ceiling. The tubing shall be connected to schedule 40 PVC pipe sloped downward to a drain in the nearest mechanical room or a janitor’s closet. The vertical tubing in the classrooms shall be run inside metal conduit strapped to the wall for protection. The dehumidifiers shall be plugged into the nearest outlet. If an outlet needs to be moved closer it shall be done with V700 wire mold.
