For the "East Union Township 2023 Roads Resurfacing Project". Bidders are required to be PENNDOT prequalified. PA Prevailing Wages apply to this project. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the East Union Township Municipal Building located at 10 East Elm Street, Sheppton, PA 18248. All interested Bidders should attend. This is not a mandatory meeting however; this is the only field view to be conducted by the Municipality and only questions presented at this meeting and "Clarifications" on PennBid will be addressed prior to award unless the Municipality feels additional items or explanations need to be presented. After the Pre-Bid meeting these will be in the form of a written notice to all Bidders. All Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid made payable to East Union Township. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded Contract amount within 20 days of the award of the Contract.
