Description | All Requests for Information (RFI) should be addressed in writing to Stephanie I. Fan at sifan@cpp.edu with the Subject Title: CPP-PW22026 RFI, no later than Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.. In general, the work consists of providing necessary mechanical, electrical and controls materials and services to replace existing DX Rooftop units with new heat pump rooftop DX Package unites. Additionally, new Distech controls will be provided for the new units as well as the VVT terminal units in Bldg. 79. Project materials and work will be bid and performed in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Goss Engineering, Inc.; 225 E. Rincon Street, Suite 301, Corona, CA 92879; Mr. Nick Ubrun, P.E., Principal Engineer; telephone: 951-340-1977; e-mail: nubrun@gosseng.com This project is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage rate laws (Contract General Conditions, Article 4.02) Direct any prequalification questions to the Trustees' Prequalification Administrator at cocm.prequal@calstate.edu. Last Day for Issuance of Addenda by CPP: Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. 4. Pre-Qualification Due to Chancellor's Office (CO): Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m The Trustees require the successful bidder to achieve three percent (3%) DVBE participation in contracting construction projects as established in the bidding documents, and bidders shall identify DVBEs to be used to satisfy this requirement in their bids The DVBE incentive may not exceed $100,000.00. When used in combination with the Small Business Preference, the cumulative adjustment amount shall not exceed $100,000.00. If the lowest responsive, responsible bid is a California certified small business, for bid evaluation purposes only, the only bidders eligible for the incentive will be California certified small businesses. Bidders shall contact the Trustees' DVBE Coordinator, Christine Hollaway at hollawaycruz@cpp.edu. It will be the responsibility of each bidder to obtain a bid proposal package in sufficient time to fulfill requirements therein. Bid proposal packages are obtainable only by prequalified contractors, licensed in the State of California with both B and C-20 licenses, and registered with the DIR to bid public works projects, and attended the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. Contractors submitting bids must self-perform at least fifty-one percent (51%) of the entire project. |
