Fiber-to-the-home Network Construction and Operation in Noble township

This proposal is for the development and operation by a "Provider" of a high-speed fiber network for thecitizens and businesses in the Service Area. The objectives are to establish a Network that: 1. Is able to offer retail broadband connection of 1 Gbps and at least 700Mbps throughput download speed over each connection provided to a premises; 2. Is able to support high quality data and video [cable TV] services; 3. Uses fiber-to-the-premises network architecture; 4. Covers 100 percent of homes and small businesses in the Service Area; 5. Is rolled out and made operational progressively, on a demand driven basis, over 2 years from the date of execution of a contract. The bidder awarded the contract must provide a performance bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, in an amount equal to the bid. Said performance bond will be required upon signing the contract for this project. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed in a sealed envelope to Office of Noble Township Trustees of Defiance County, Ohio, 22485 Mill Street Defiance, OH 43512, and bearing the Bidder's name and address and marked "RFP for (FTTH) Network Construction and Operation in Noble Township". The Noble Township Trustees of Defiance County, OH reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received.
