2023 Roof Improvements

This District includes all or part of the following Iowa Counties: Blackhawk. The said Board proposes to construct 2023 Roof Improvements - for the Cedar Falls Community School District. Project work includes Base Bid for reroofing of Level A on Cedar Heights Elementary (approximately 17,830 sf) with new 80 mil contour ribbed PVC roof membrane (30-year warranty) at 2417 Rainbow Drive and reroofing Level K (approximately 5,520 sf) at Holmes Junior High at 505 Holmes Drive in Cedar Falls, Iowa per contract documents with a cost estimate of approximately $525,000 for the Base Bid. An alternate bid for reroofing level D1 (approximately 3,725 sf) at Holmes also included with a cost estimate of approximately $90,000. The time of the public hearing is hereby set at 5:30 P.M. (Local Time) on January 9, 2023. A public hearing at which any and all interested persons may appear and file objection to said proposed Drawings, Specifications, Form of Contract for, or cost of such improvements will be held as provided by law in the Cedar Falls Community School District, City Hall, 220 Clay Street, Cedar Falls, IA 50613. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
