South Fork Pumping Station Pump(s)

Furnish one (1) or two (2) 30” vertical turbine mixed flow propeller oil lubricated pump(s) complete with electric motor(s). Each unit shall include a bowl assemble, column, enclosed tube and line shaft, discharge head, sealing assembly and driver. These pump(s) will be unloaded, set in place, and connected by others. The pump(s) and motor(s) will be installed outdoors and shall be satisfactory for operation in all conditions of weather. The pump(s) shall be equipped with a vertical electric motor(s) connected for operation on a 4160 volt, 3 phase, 60 hertz wire service. The pump(s) with accessories shall be capable of delivering 25,000 GPM at 40 feet of head (TDH). These pump(s) shall be vertical, submerged, open runner coupled to a vertical motor. Pump discharge column shall support the pump and shall enclose the pump(s) shafting. These pump(s) will handle raw river water. The liquid temperature ranges from 35°F to 105°F. All prices quoted by the bidders shall be firm in accordance with Section I of this contract and delivery time after awarding of contract shall be stated in the bidder’s proposal in Section III. Pump(s) shall be delivered DDP, Incoterms® 2010 to the Office of Public Utilities, Water Filtration Plant, and 3100 Stevenson Drive, Springfield, Illinois 62703. Delivery shall be made only after receipt of a purchase order from the City Purchasing Agent.
