Description

The contract includes, but not limited to the following major items of work: Installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic protection devices associated with road closure and detour proposed for this project; Installation, maintenance, and removal of soil erosion and sediment control measures; Provide Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) Recordation performed by consultant meeting the Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualifications Standards in Architectural History; Installation of temporary bracing for existing stone masonry arches and walls; Demolition and replacement of span 3 superstructure with rein forced cast-in-place concrete deck on rehabilitated existing sub structures; Excavation of existing earth fill from the arches and installation of cast-in-place reinforced concrete arch liners; Archaeological monitoring during excavation activities; Partial demolition of stone masonry abutments and spandrel walls; Installation of steel bridge and approach railing systems; Hot mixed asphalt paving of bridge and approach roadways.
