Athletic Track Repairs

Location where work is to be performed: Athletic Track INQUIRIES: Contractors shall have until Thursday, April 28, 2022 to make any inquiries. All inquiries shall be directed in writing to: Mr. Richard Goode Director of Support Services Prince Edward County Public Schools 35 Eagle Drive Farmville, VA 23901 In compliance with the Request for Proposal and to all the terms and conditions imposed herein, the undersigned offers and agrees to furnish the services in accordance with the attached signed proposal. Project Start Date: July 15, 2022 Project Completion Date: September 1, 2022 The project is contingent upon funding availability. The Prince Edward County Public School system reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Refurbish the rubberized track located on the Prince Edward County Schools campus. Option 1: Complete Restoration of the Track Disposal of existing rubberized track & field surface Fill all cracks and other damaged areas Furnish and install Petromat Paving Surface Fabric (Or comparable quality material) Pave with rubberized asphalt 2 inches compacted Furnish and install new take off boards Furnish and install field, turf, and fence protection Plexitrac Lightning Black Track Surface 3/8 inch (Or comparable quality material) Install proper drainage for track area Layout & paint for all track & field events Relocate Shot Put Area Replace Discus Cage Alternatives: Plexitrac Accelerator RED Track Surface 1/2 inch (Or comparable quality material) Plexitrac Accelerator modified Red Track Surface 3/8 inch (Or comparable quality material) Option 2: Renovation of Existing Track Hot Power Washing of track & field surface Filling of all cracks and imperfections Patching of loose & worn sections of track & field surfaces Layout & Paint 8 lanes and all other track and field event designs

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
