Description | Valencia College seeks an individual/firm to provide grease trap cleaning services. 1. All technicians will have the proper certifications and training to perform the scheduled services 2. Safe and quality service; the traps will be cleaned, and removed products will be processed/recycled with the highest safety and cleanliness standard in compliance with all laws and codes applicable, as well as to the highest standards of the industry 3. Any issues with College-owned equipment (drains, traps, covers, tanks, etc…) will be brought to the attention of the Plant Operations Supervisor for each location/campus and the Director of Auxiliary Services (Currently Jeff Filko) via email within no more than 48 hours; if the situation is emergent, via phone call immediately 4. Any issues caused by, or as a result of, the services being rendered or the technicians will be repaired, replaced, or cleaned by the provider to return the state of the equipment to at least as good as it was prior to the services being rendered as determined in the sole judgement of the College via its representatives from Plant Operations. 5. Technicians will arrive on-site with the proper equipment and tools to complete the job; they will not have to schedule a return visit to complete the job because they did not have the right equipment or training 6. Strict adherence to the established service schedule of every 90 days; with the understanding that some events beyond the control of the provider can and do happen a. In the event of a schedule interruption, immediate communication via emails and phone calls to the Plant Operations Supervisor for each location/campus and the Director of Auxiliary Services (Currently Jeff Filko) detailing the reason for the change in schedule, along with the rescheduled date and time for service 7. Services to be scheduled during those times when the unit(s) and buildings are at their lowest use and population; for most campuses this is Friday 8. Fats, Oils and Grease Waste Disposal Manifests will be sent preferably by a scan via email within 72 hours; hard copies will be forwarded no later than 14 days after the date of service 9. Emails and phone calls will be responded to in a timely manner, no more than 48 hours, weekends and holidays excepting 10. Invoices for services rendered to be sent via email no later than 72 hours after the date of service 11. A fair and reasonable price for services rendered at rates comparable to the prevailing market for similar services from other providers |
