Description | PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work includes identifying and remediating through precision saw cutting sidewalk trip hazards at two Visitor Center areas in Colonial National Historical Park. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment necessary to remediate approximately 54 tripping hazards along the concrete sidewalks and curbs of the areas in accordance to the Statement of Work. PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This firm-fixed price contract will be awarded using best value as the source selection process in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition. All responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration in accordance with these and other terms and conditions of the anticipated solicitation. NAICS CODE: 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a small business size standard of $16.5M. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be less than $25,000. Location: Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Cents, York County, VA and Jamestown Visitor Center, James City County, VA B. Access: Access to the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center is not controlled, though the site is only staffed by National Park Service personnel from 8:00 to 4:00. Parking is open in the Visitor Center Parking Lot. The Jamestown Visitor Center has restricted, gated access from 8:30 to 4:00. With prior permission, the contract may access the site outside of normal business hours. REQUIRED PERFORMANCE PERIOD 1. The contractor shall begin work within 14 days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date and shall be completed within 30 days of NTP issuance. 2. Submit project schedule for approval prior to mobilization. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
