Description

Building(s): Stegall Hall Room(s)/Area: 133, 135 & 139 Cove Base Removal Scope of Work: - Prior to the above areas being painted (pre-painting work), remove existing floor covering and rubber cover base and clean all existing glue from the walls. - Thoroughly clean all work areas to include sweeping and mopping. Clean up should be performed each day prior to exiting the site. Vinyl Composite Tile Flooring Installation Scope of Work: - Remove all existing floor covering and prep/level floor per the manufacturer's directions, specifications and recommendations. - Install new Armstrong Imperial Texture Standard Excelon Vinyl Composite Tile flooring per the manufacturer's directions, specifications and recommendations. Color selection to be determined by the owner (ESCC). - Thoroughly clean all work areas to include sweeping and mopping. Clean up should be performed each day prior to exiting the site. Cove Base Installation Scope of Work: Once the flooring has been completed install new Johnsonite Traditional Wall Base with toe in each area per the manufacturer's directions, specifications and recommendations. Color selection to be determined by the owner (ESCC). - Provide and install any required floor transitions. Color selection to be determined by the owner (ESCC). - Thoroughly clean all work areas to include sweeping and mopping. Clean up should be performed each day prior to exiting the site. Scheduling and Time Allowances: - Work to be scheduled with the Plant Supervisor, Michael Helms (334-447-6477). - Cove Base & Glue Removal- once the pre-painting work (phase one) has begun, the total pre-painting job, cove base and existing floor covering removal should be completed in no more than one (1) calendar days. - VCT & Cove Base Installation — once the post painting work has begun, the total project should be completed in no more than four (5) consecutive calendar days. Products: - New Johnsonite 4” Traditional Wall Base with toe. - New Armstrong Imperial Texture Standard Excelon Vinyl Composite Floor Tile. - Any and all materials, glue, transitions, etc. to perform this job will be purchased and supplied by the successful bidder. - Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS or SDS) of all products to be used should be supplied to the ESCC Plant Supervisor no less than seven (7) days prior to the work beginning. Warranties: - All manufacturers’ standard product warranties to apply. - Successful bidder to provide, in writing, a one year limited liability warranty for workmanship.
