CORA Project - Building Upfit and Parking Lot Paving Repair

Removal of existing parking lot asphalt (identified parking spaces area only). 1. Rework, cleanup, redistribution, compaction of existing base. 2. Replacement of subgrade found to be unsuitable upon review by contractor and Owner. Any additional stone to be furnished at unit price identified in the bid. 3. Furnish and install 2” of S9.5B surface asphalt (priced in accordance with the latest NCDOT asphalt index). Asphalt is to be placed at a minimum grade to meet existing conditions AND minimize possible issues with standing water. 4. Due to the possible time of year the asphalt may be placed, ambient air temperature must be between 50 and 90 degrees to perform the work. 5. Layout and paint pavement markings for parking spaces. 6. Accommodate one Handicapped Van accessible space with offloading area. 7. Furnish and install concrete parking bumpers – one per parking space. 8. Cleanup as necessary to leave site in condition similar to that at the start of the project.
