Truck Parking Availability System

The proposed project is located along I-10 at the Ehrenberg, Bouse Wash, Texas Canyon and San Simon rest areas, where a truck parking availability system will be implemented to detect the number of available truck parking spaces and provide real-time information to the traveling public via Dynamic Parking Availability Signs (DPAS) and software applications. The proposed work consists of the installation of CCTV Cameras, Radar Detection Systems, Dynamic Parking Availability Signs, solar power equipment, software integration, connecting to existing electrical services, and related work. If a request for approval to bid as a Prime Contractor is received less than 48 hours prior to bid opening, the Department cannot guarantee the request will be acted on. This contract is subject to the provisions of Arizona Revised Statutes Section 42-5075 -- Prime contracting classification; exemptions; definitions. No proposal will be accepted from any contractor who is not a duly licensed contractor in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes 32-1101 through 32-1170.03.
