The Project consists of construction and renovation of a new in-fill building between the existing gym building and the existing technology center building adjacent to it. Site work is also required. A Bid Bond for 5% of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal. Performance Bond in the amount of 100% and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price will be required. All easements and rights-of-way for this project have been obtained. City permits and approvals have not yet been obtained. This project is being funded in part by a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Bidders and subcontractors must comply with Federal requirements relating to equal opportunity and to the Davis Bacon Act, Kopeland Anti-kickback Act, Executive orders 11246 and 11375, Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 3 of the Urban Development Act of 1968 as well as other Federal Regulations as contained in the Project Manual. This is a Section 3 Covered Project under the HUD Act of 1968 and Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
