2022-2027 Community Snow and Ice Removal Services

The following specifications cover Snow and Ice Removal for OPWDD sites in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, and St. Lawrence Counties, as listed in the Cost Proposal Form. The Day Treatment Centers and residences are used and occupied by a developmentally disabled population including some individuals who are medically or physically disabled, as well as some who are confined to wheelchairs. Snow removal shall automatically commence at the accumulation of 4 inches at the contracted site. It is the Contractor’s sole responsibility to ensure they are aware of when each site on this contract has accumulated 4 inches of snow. All driveways and parking areas shall be accessible by 6:30AM and cleared of accumulation/drifting by 2:30PM every day. The House/Program Manager or designee has the right to call for additional service as deemed necessary for safety concerns. Service shall be provided 7 days per week and 24 hours per day
