Description | **As of April 11, 2023, project was awarded to Custom Construction of Roswell and NM and Keers Remediation, Inc. but awarded amount is not available.** Scope of Work: The City of Roswell is requesting bids for the purpose of Asbestos, Lead or mold remediation in City of Roswell buildings. As projects become available, the City will contact the prequalified vendors to provide quotes, give a deadline when the quote is due, and allow site visits. Bid packages mailed, or otherwise hand or courier delivered prior to the point of opening must contain two original copies of the bid proposal and the following must be written on the bottom left corner of the EXTERIOR of the SEALED PACKAGE, MAILER BOX. To help the City of Roswell defray printing costs; it is requested that unsuccessful bidders return the bidding documents in usable condition within ten (10) business days after bidding. Each Bidder is requested to visit the site of the proposed work to fully acquaint themselves with the conditions relating to the construction and labor so that the Bidder may fully understand the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of the work under the Contract. Bidders shall thoroughly examine and be familiar with the Plans and Specifications and any federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations that may in any manner affect cost, progress, or performance of the work. The failure or omission of any Bidder to receive or examine any form, instrument, addendum, or other document or to visit the site and acquaint themselves with conditions there existing, shall in no way relieve any Bidder from obligations with respect to their bid or Contract. The submission of a bid shall be taken as prima facie evidence of compliance with this section. All bids received are subject to approval of the City Council at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Notice is hereby given that the City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and in case of ambiguity or lack of clearness, qualifications, references, and the right to determine the best bid, or, to reject the same and to waive irregularities and technicalities. |
