Description: Said proposals for the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities: 2,800 C Y Common/Subgrade Excavation 12,500 S F 4"/6" Concrete Walk 29,000 S F 3" Bituminous Walk 1,600 L F Concrete Curb and Gutter (B424, B612, B618) 6 EACH Lighting Unit Type Special 3 SYS Pedestrian Crosswalk Flasher System Additional Description: Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Once all the electronic bids have been reviewed and accepted (AS READ), the preliminary Base Bid results will be shared with all Bidders. Bid results may be viewed electronically The provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City shall comply with the provisions of the statute. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of opening of bids. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the City. For all further requirements regarding Bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.
