Description

The Red Rock Ranger Station buildings were built in 2008. There are three single-story buildings including a visitor center, main office and warehouse. The visitor center building is approximately 7,544 square feet, the office 13,875 square feet and warehouse 2,400 square feet. The buildings are standard construction consisting of concrete slabs, both wood and metal framing, and metal roofing. The buildings need maintenance in several areas. Contractors will be solely responsible for confirming the conditions, assessing structural/layout issues and other pertinent component or electrical information as it pertains to their proposed repairs. All existing utilities shall be protected in place. The North Kaibab Ranger District visitor center was built in 1992. The building is single story building with standard insulation and windows on all exposures. The visitor center is approximately 1,552 square feet. The building needs maintenance in several areas. Contractors will be solely responsible for confirming the conditions, assessing structural/layout issues and other pertinent component or electrical information as it pertains to their proposed repairs. All existing utilities shall be protected in place.
