Asbestos Abatement, Building #3, Chinden Campus

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include removal, abatement, and disposal of approximately 87,470 square feet of asbestos containing mastic that is concealed under existing floor and carpet tiles in areas on the first and second floor throughout the building. Work to be completed utilizing grinding methods adhering to all EPA and OSHA requirements. Use of chemical removal methods will not be permitted. 10 weeks is allotted to complete all work within the scope of work. The work has been divided into two primary phases as identified in the documents. The construction duration and substantial completion dates are vital to the activities at Building #3, Chinden Campus. Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
