Ohio ARNG ITAMS Trail Phase 4 at CJAGMTC Sources Sought

CJAGJMTC requires a contractor who will be responsible for planning and executing the improvement of CJAGJMTC maneuver trail in Group 7 with a Base Bid amount of 650 linear feet of existing trail along the southern perimeter of Group 7. This project will be broken down into the base bid and Alternate options of various linear feet and work scope. Background The purpose of this project is to improve an existing trail along the south perimeter of Group 7 (Training Area 71) to eventually connect to South Service Road. This project is for Phase 4 of that trail. Once fully completed and all phases constructed, the improvements will provide better connectivity among training areas. The improvements will also contribute to long term sustainable use of training areas and will help avoid and/or minimize negative impacts to the environment and associated costs. The maneuver trail will have a surface hardened with stone. Some culvert replacement and installation is required as well as other drainage improvements. The trail must be able to accommodate a tractor trailer hauling heavy, tracked military equipment (tanks, bulldozers, etc.) and support the weight and movement of an M1A1 Abrams battle tank at 80 tons.
