Description | As of March 31, 2023, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. 40'x100' Addition to existing pole barn building. Addition to consist of concrete drilled piers, grade beam, sloped 6" concrete slab w/ trench drains. Pole barn building w/ pre-engineered wood trusses; 2x wall girts and purlins & metal siding and roofing panels to match existing. A three lane shooting range is included in the scope and consists of 8" concrete walls, steel frame & metal decking supporting concrete ceiling. Addition to: Tuscola Maintenance Building 00030 - 1 UAA No. 22009 CONTRACTS Bids will be taken and Contracts awarded as follows: CONTRACT NO. 1 - Complete Construction Work. BID SECURITY A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded him. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full amount of the bid accepted. PREVAILING WAGE RATES Contractors and Subcontractors shall be required to comply with the Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and adopted by the County. SALES TAXES This project is exempt from sales tax. The Owner will provide the Contractor with tax exempt identification number upon request. PROPOSAL REJECTION AND IRREGULARITIES The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in any bid and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. |
