| Description | The City of Cape Coral has fire and burglar alarm systems scattered throughout numerous City buildings. These systems are all monitored by the City’s 911 dispatch center via the City of Cape Coral data network and/or a dial-up connection. The intent of this Invitation to Bid is to award a contract based upon maintenance and repair on all components of these alarm systems, including the communication and/or data connection to the City’s network going to the 911 dispatch center and the monitoring software located in the 911 dispatch center. The awarded vendor will be responsible for required annual or semiannual testing and inspections to ensure all systems are in compliance with all applicable building and fire codes. Included in the scope of services is annual service and/or replacement of fire extinguishers. |
