Water Valve Replacement

1.Valves for replacement to be decided by City staff and US Water. 2.Remove existing valve and replace with new valve. Size to vary between 4 inch and 10 inch. Valve and fittings to be supplied by the city. 3.Install new valve at required location. Size to vary between 4 inch and 10 inch. Valve and fittings to be supplied by the city. 4.Trench backfill to valves to be ¾” clean stone (CA-7) topped-off with 10 inches of compacted CA-10. 5.If valve is situated in grass area include for minimum 4 inches of topsoil, grass seed and straw mulch. If valve is situated in street blacktop city will be responsible for reinstating blacktop (HMA). 6.City will be responsible for obtaining water samples for bacteriological testing if needed.
