Description | Awardee: C. Green Scaping, LP - $862,309.20 The City of Arlington, Texas (the Owner) will accept bids for work described in general as follows: 1. Install and maintain Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) traffic control standards 2. Install and maintain erosion control facilities 3. Grading and drainage improvements 4. Landscape and irrigation improvements 5. Electrical system (controls and lighting) improvements 6. Fabricate and install Gateway Monument 7. Complete cleanup of entire area within project limits and other portions of the site outside of project limits that may be affected by construction and other work as shown on the construction plans All Construction within the State Right of Way will require compliance to TxDOT Standard Specifications, Standard Plans, and Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. A Cashier's Check or an acceptable Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Arlington, Texas, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the largest amount bid must accompany the bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be required, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract and payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. These bonds shall be fully executed and accompany the signed contract. The successful bidder shall also furnish to the Owner a Maintenance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract covering defects of material and workmanship for one-year following the Owner's approval and final acceptance of the work. Not less than the prevailing wage rates adopted by the City of Arlington, Texas, and as set forth in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. Bid Proposal must be submitted on the forms bound within the bidding documents. The right to accept any bid, or to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities is hereby reserved by the Owner. The City reserves the right to request bidders to provide Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) information. This is for information only and no preference shall be given, nor will this information affect the results of the contract award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all informalities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date bids are opened. |
