Station Wrightsville Beach Repair Sewage System Clean Out

The work consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment as required to Repair Sewage System Cleanout. 3.1: Conduct utilities mark out prior to execution of this SOW to avoid damage to underlying/underground utility services. 3.2: Saw cut a 4 foot X 4 foot area of asphalt around the existing sewage cleanout and remove the asphalt. Excavate soil beneath to expose the broken cleanout pipe. Cut the 3-inch cast iron grey water pipe from the grease trap, the 4-inch pipe from the engineering building, and the 4 inch pipe leading to the collection vault. Remove the broken cleanout. 3.3: Using best industry standard for installing underground sewer piping; install a new sewage cleanout pipe using Schedule 80 CPVC pipe and suitable couplings to adapt the schedule 80 pipe to cast iron. 3.4: Use fill removed from 3.2 to fill the area around the newly installed clean out to a height no more than 12 from finished rough grade and compact. 3.5: Use aggregate base course (ABC) to fill the remaining area to 2 inches below the top of the existing asphalt layer, (approximately 12 inches of ABC), compact. 3.6: Apply 2 inches of asphalt patch to the saw cut area and roll to a smooth/uniform finish.
