Description

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site demolition, utilities, asphalt repairs, concrete paving, trench drains and associated piping. Questions concerning administrative matters should be directed to Hilda W. Williams, Senior Procurement Specialist, at (919) 560-0054. Contractors who bid must be licensed to do work in the State of North Carolina under the Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting. The Contractor's North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.00. Bids will be evaluated and the Contract will be awarded in accordance with statutory public contract requirements as supplemented or altered by the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Ordinance of the County of Durham (MWBE). The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the County. The work contemplated will include site improvements to the Durham County Judicial Building Annex located at 201 North Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27701. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site demolition, utilities, asphalt repairs, concrete paving, trench drains and associated piping. Overall MWBE Participation Goal -25%
