2022 Roads Program

The Project consists of roadway improvements throughout Hopewell Township. The base bid includes improvements to nineteen (19) roads throughout the Township, with various improvements including a combination of milling and leveling course replacement, base repair, and overlay. The alternate bid projects, if awarded, consists of two (2) additional roads and all associated work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. All bidders must submit bid security of a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). The Work, except for Alternate Bid 1, will be substantially complete on or before July 1, 2022, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before August 1, 2022. Alternative Bid 1 shall be completed by October 31, 2022.
