Description

Site work for a transportation facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility. Bids filed in accordance with this solicitation shall be publicly opened and read aloud by the City Clerk at the date and time stated above. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The value of this project exceeds one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00). Copies of these provisions are on file with the City Clerk and at the office of LBR, Inc., and may be inspected by bidders during normal business hours. A cashier's check, a certified check, a surety bond or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The City of Stillwater reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all bids and to waive any and all informalities. Upon receipt of an acceptable bid, the contract will be awarded within one hundred twenty (120) days after opening of bids and the written contract executed within ten (10) days thereafter. All bidders must visit and inspect the construction site and be familiar with the physical characteristics and conditions at the construction site. Appointments with the airport can be made to see the site. Details will be shared at the virtual pre-bid conference.
