ARPA Water Distribution Improvements

Plans call for the construction of approximately 135,000 linear fee of water distribution improvements within Washington County. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. Black Bayou Water Association reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any and all informalities, and reserves the right to hold all Bids for examination for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days and to award Contract to the lowest and best Bid complying with the Plans and Specifications within said time. The work to be performed under this contract consists of distribution system improvements as illustrated on the Construction Drawings and Specifications. Specific items of work shall be as authorized and directed by the Engineer upon examination of field conditions and the Engineer shall control the sequence of work. All work is to be performed in strict accordance with these Specifications, the Construction Drawings and regulations of governmental agencies having authority over this project.
