North End Around Taxiway Gap Waterline

Project is to install new 12-inch and 24-inch waterlines to connect an existing 24-inch diameter waterline with an existing 12-inch diameter waterline along Old Dowd Road (i.e. connect an existing gap in the water distribution system). This work will include jack and bore cased crossing of existing NCDOT roadways and a creek, installing 24-inch diameter water line pipe through an existing 54-inch diameter casing beneath Interstate 485, new water meter installation, valves, hydrants, air-release valves, traffic control, erosion control measures, and site restoration. Completion of this project will allow CLT Airport to take an existing water line out of service for North End Around Taxiway improvements.
