Description | The summary of the overall Project consists of providing all labor, materials and resources necessary to install all Work for Phase I of the Transfer Station Upgrades which will include site access road expansion, construction of storm water pond and miscellaneous storm water improvements, supply and install pre-engineered metal building on concrete foundation and removal and disposal of Transtor Hoppers and concrete foundation for the SRMT Transfer Station located at 179 County Route 43, Fort Covington, New York, as further described in the Bid Documents. SRMT is utilizing "online" construction project management software for viewing and downloading copies of the Bid Documents. All electronic correspondence is tracked and archived by Procore and bidders are provided with the most up-to- date information for the project. Interested bidders must contact the SRMT's Grants and Contracts Office to be added to the bidders list for this project and to obtain access to bid documents, drawings and technical specifications. Questions and requests should be directed to: Grants & Contracts Office, Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial Way, Akwesasne, NY at (518) 358-2272 and by e-mailing: grants.contracts@srmt-nsn.gov no later than five (5) days prior to bid opening. Representatives of the Owner will be present to discuss the Project. Owner will issue an Addendum containing the minutes as they consider necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. The Owner will not reimburse any bidder for expenses to attend this meeting. Due to the current ongoing COVID-19 Emergency and SRMT Social Distancing regulations, companies are asked to send no more than two (2) representatives on the company's behalf. All site visits should be in strict accordance with current SRMT regulations regarding COVID-19 safety. Masks are OPTIONAL and social distancing will continue to be followed. Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates, Bid and Contract Security are mandatory requirements of this call. The following preferences apply to this solicitation: Native Preference, Women Business Enterprises. In accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Native American Preference Policy, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe will give preference in the award of a Contract to approved Native American Owned Business/Company, as certified by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Compliance Department. Any bidder claiming Native American Preference must give evidence to support this claim with their submitted bid. The successful Bidder, as well as their Sub-Contractors, will be required to complete a Native American Preference Employment Plan and Agreement. |
