Bunker Hills Regional Park Improvements - Activity Center Roof - Anoka County

Bunker Hills Regional Park is 1500-acre jewel in the center of the County. The park offers trails, picnicking pavilions, horse stables, the Activities Center, a campground, trails and Bunker Beach. This project includes: 1. Reconstruction of the Activities Center Roof and drainage FY 2022- done 2. Improvements to the boardwalk, trails, Parkway A, and parking lot expansions. FY 2023-2026 (CRM#6194500) 3. The playground near the Veteran's Memorial will be replaced. FY 2025.(CRM#6194501) 4. The Maintenance Shop is proposed to be expanded and reconstructed in FY 2025. (CRM#6194503) This project is included in the city's 2023-2027, Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The parks capital plan includes $1 million for improvements at Bunker Hills Regional Park. As of March 22, 2023, the activity center roof project was awarded. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
