Jim Brandon Equestrian - Exterior Painting

1. Work shall include, but not be limited to painting the exterior; surface treatment, including, but not limited to, surface cleaning, surface preparation, pressure cleaning or sandblasting; surface repair including, but not limited to, caulking, sealants, patching; priming and application of paint coatings to the substrates and systems that are necessary for, and reasonably incidental to, the completion of the service. Painting shall be in accordance with Exhibit “1”. 2. The work covered by this solicitation consists of rust treatment and painting of the interior surfaces of Barns “A” and “B”: steel beams, girders, columns, supports and galvalume decking. Each barn is approximately190’ x 80’. 3. Arena steel support columns shall be an alternate bid. 4. Basis for Design shall be Sherwin Williams Products or PBC approved equal. Palm Beach County Facilities Division shall choose paint colors. 5. A finished coat mockup 10’-0’’x10’-0’’ area must be provided by the Contractor and approved by the Project Manager before proceeding.
