Huxtable Boiler Replacement

Requirement to remove the existing boiler and install a new hot water boiler FM/UL rated with modulating burner with a 2:5:1 turndown with all new pressure rated flue piping, and all in accordance with NFPA 211 and NFPA 31 at Huxtable Pumping Plant located on the St. Francis near Marianna, Arkansas. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment to successfully do all the work described herein, and to transport and install one new hot water boiler FM/UL rated with modulating burner with a 2:5:1 turndown with all new pressure rated flue piping, and all in accordance with NFPA 211 and NFPA 31. The requirement includes new base mounted centrifugal pumps, expansion tanks of same size and pressure rating as existing boiler system in use. The Contractor shall also clean the inside surfaces of the vertical stack and remove all debris resulting from that operation. The Contractor shall remove the clean-out door assembly in the bottom of stack and weld on a new one so there is no soot allowed to enter into the building. The contractor shall provide, furnish, and install all necessary and appropriate components, items, fasteners, anchors, pads, cables, conduit, mounts, grout or similar incidental items necessary and required to install the new boiler and all other ancillary equipment. Boiler and associated piping shall have the required seismic protection measures to resist lateral forces induced by earthquakes without consideration of friction resulting from gravity loads. Upon completion, the boiler shall perform to the standards and rates specified by the manufacturer. The boiler shall be tuned and tested to insure it is firing at the proper fuel/air ratio. New equipment shall come with at minimum a standard 1 year warranty. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts and tools for this project. All work shall conform to local, state, and federal codes. The Contractor shall inspect existing conditions before submitting a proposal.
