HVAC EMCS Installation

The work of project is defined by the contract documents and consists of the following: 1. In general, the project consists of all work, including labor, equipment and materials, necessary to install a truly open ‘BACnet’ or like in kind with same functionality and requirements based system that: 2. Consists of hardware and software that can be openly purchased without licensing restrictions or costs. 3. Is simple to operate by a typical Coast Guard Operating unit. 4. Can be serviced or expanded by openly available entities in a competitive manner with no dependency upon the original installing contractor. 5. Has product information and training resources openly available on the internet. 6. All hardware and software shall be owned by the Coast Guard. 7. All existing fire code and life safety functionality and interlocks shall be maintained and all new work shall comply with current fire and safety codes 8. Provide four printed copies plus an electronic copy of a training manual covering the presented operator training material. 9. Provide a Four-hour (minimum) training presentation to the Sector Key West Facility Engineering Staff at Sector Key West. Training shall include instructions for operator implementation of: a. Control loop Set-Point adjustment b. Equipment Operational time and day scheduling c. Control point data collection and trend report generation d. Alarm condition configuration.
