Trinity Lutheran Church - Bathroom Addition

Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Creston, Iowa. Working plans call for the addition of a religious / funeral development; for the demolition of a religious / funeral development; for the renovation of a religious / funeral development; for site work for a religious / funeral development; and water / sewer project. Project put on hold per Architect The Project consists of partial demolition of the former east entry and construction of a Bathroom Addition with basement below. The work includes Demolition, Concrete, Metal fabrication, Wood framing and trims, Asphalt Shingles, Seamless Gutters, Door Systems, Gyp. Board Assembiles, Wall and Floor tile, Paint, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing, Sitework, Ground and Storm Drainage Systems. The Prime Contractor submitting the Bid shall provide and coordinate all Work required for this Project. Starting time for construction shall be within ten (10) days after the written Notice to Proceed is issued. The estimated starting date on site is Monday, April 4, 2022. Preparation and ordering of materials shall occur prior to the start of construction. Substantial Completion of the project shall be no later than Friday December 2 2022 Bidders may seek clarification of the drawings and specifications from the Architect and propose substitutions prior to the opening of Bids until 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at which time no further information will be provided other than what is shown in the Drawings and Project Manual. The purpose for the deadline is to insure adequate time for preparation and issuance of an addendum, if needed, on Friday, March 4, 2022. It is the intention of this request that addenda after this date may not be necessary Bids submitted to the Owner must be accompanied by cash, certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond submitted in a separate envelope in the amount of 5% of the bid and made payable to Trinity Lutheran Church. Such cash, checks or bid bonds will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders within three (3) days after the opening of bids and the remaining cash, checks or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted Bidder have executed the Contract, or if no award has been made within thirty (30) days after date of the opening of bids, upon demand of the Bidder at any time thereafter, so long as he has not been notified of the acceptance of his bid. Conditional bids will not be accepted. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any item of any bid unless such bid is qualified by specific limitation.
