Description | Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, field survey, verification, inspection, disposal, testing services, and supervision necessary to replace existing package air conditioning unit with new heat pump and replace existing split heating and air conditioning systems with new systems in Building 50 and 51 at Base Alameda. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Remove and dispose of (8) existing packaged heat pumps. Install (8) new packaged heat pumps with economizer at the location of removed heat pump. Connect heat pump to existing supply and return duct with new flex connections. B. Remove and dispose of (4) ductless split heating and air conditioning systems. Install (4) new ductless split system at the location of removed split systems. Insulate and support the new refrigerant pipe. C. Remove and dispose of (6) split heating and air condition systems with ducted fan coil. Install (6) split heating and air conditioning systems with ducted fan coil at the location of removed split systems. Insulate and support the new refrigerant pipe. Connect split system to existing supply and return duct with new flex connections and air filter housing. D. Provide new wired 7-day programmable thermostat and control wire to new HVAC equipment. All exposed control wire shall be in conduits. No wireless thermostat will be consider. E. Provide electrical power to the mechanical equipment. F. Open existing variable air volume (VAV) and by-pass dampers and remove VAV room thermostats. G. Provide and install mechanical equipment identification marker tags on new equipment installations. |
