Description | Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids to provide and install four (4) ductless mini-split systems to provide redundant cooling per LES Specification included in this solicitation. Successful bidder will be required to complete (1) the LES Construction and Installation Contract; 2) furnish proof of insurance with coverage specified in the Contract by an insurance company licensed to do business in Nebraska and rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating. Certificate must show LES listed as additional insured for general liability and include waiver of subrogation; 3) furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed to do business in Nebraska and also rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating, 4) Return a completed copy of the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 9/1/2022 4:00 PM Provide and install four (4) ductless minisplit systems for backup air conditioning in SCADA C1053 per the floor plan and schedule below. Two indoor units (SSIU-#) shall be placed on each side ofthe SCADA room, and all four condensing units (SSCU-#) shall be placed high on the wall in the indoor parking garage as shown on the partial floor plan below. Coordinate exact locations with Owner prior to installation and install units per manufacturer's instructions. Route condensate piping above ceilings from SSIU units in SCADA room to floor sink in Ice Room. Condensate piping shall be Schedule 40 PVC pipe with 3/4" flexible elastomeric insulation.In existing panel NL2SC1 located on the Mechanical Mezzanine, remove (8) existing 20 amp single pole spare breakers and turn over to owner to make room for (4) new 30 amp two pole breakers. Utilize circuits 35 through 42. Provide 2-#I0 AWG, #10 GND in %" conduit from each of four split system outdoor units to new breakers. Provide 30 amp, 240 volt, 2 pole, NEMA 1, non-fused disconnect on new feeder at each outdoor unit. Provide 2-#12 AWG, #12 GND in %" conduit from each outdoor unit to the corresponding indoor unit. |
