Fire Suppression Systems and Fire Extinguisher Inspections and Repair Services

The Contractor is responsible for weekly and annually testing the Fire Suppression Systems and Fire Extinguishers in buildings owned and operated by the agency and make necessary repairs when needed. The contractor shall perform weekly fire pump test and one annual test and certification of each Fire Suppression System per year that shall meet all applicable City of Mobile and NFPA codes. The contractor shall be responsible for providing emergency services 24/7 365 days a year when needed. In the delivery or performance of the goods and business services set forth in the Contract (and any resulting Task Order and Notice to Proceed) and such goods and services shall be delivered timely and in good workmanlike fashion employing the Contractor’s best efforts to complete the goods and services in the best and soundest way and in the most expeditious and economical manner consistent with the interests of MHB. Moreover, the delivery of the goods and services shall all comply with the laws of the United States, applicable regulations and standards of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”), and all applicable state, county, city and local codes and ordinances.
