Description | The City of Ozark is soliciting sealed proposals and or bids for outside power washing improvements of six (6) water storage tanks Water Tower Locations: 910 E Parkview. Multi-leg tank/143ft tall. 200,000 gallons/Pool Tower 704 E Becky ln. Composite tank/130ft tall. 1,000,000 gallons/Becky Tower 1504 S 17th Street. Composite tank/191ft tall. 750,000 gallons/Walgreens Tower 3500 N 21st Street. Pedisphere tank /130ft tall. 150,000 gallons/Tracker Tower 4104 N Fremont Rd. Composite tank/141ft tall. 1,100,000 gallons/Fremont Tower 5510 N Bluestem Rd. Pedisphere tank/ 160ft tall. 500,000 gallons/Bluestem Tower Scope of work: Tank washout and assessment A date shall be coordinated by both parties to drain the tank. The interior floor and lower walls of the tank will be cleaned using a pressure washer to remove all mud, silt, and foreign sediment. The tank will be inspected to assess the sanitary, safety, security, structural, and coating condition. Exterior and interior paint samples will be taken and samples will be analyzed at a certified laboratory. Laboratory results will be included in the inspection report. A comprehensive written report with color photos and video will be submitted detailing the condition of the tank. The City of Ozark reserves the right to award or reject all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process. Proposals will be received on a lump sum basis. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment bond, acceptable to the Owner, in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract price, in conformity with the requirements of the General Conditions, as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Wage rates paid on construction work for this Project shall be at least equal to the Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Division of Labor Standards of Missouri. Contract time will be as specified in the Proposal Specifications. No Proposal may be withdrawn within a period of 30 days after the date fixed for opening the Proposals. Late or unsealed submittals may be disqualified from consideration. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Proposals, and to reject the Proposal of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an Award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities. |
